GUJRANWALA, July 25: The government is not serious in resolving the LFO issue through dialogue with the opposition.

This was stated by veteran politician and ARD chief Nawabzada Nasrullah Khan while talking to newsmen here late on Thursday.

The ARD chief claimed that PML-Q chief Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain was supporting the president’s point of view regarding the uniform and did not accept it as a core issue.

He alleged that prime minister Zafarullah Khan Jamali did not enjoy executive powers to hold dialogue with the opposition on the issues of LFO and uniform of president Pervaiz Musharraf.

He said that the prime minister and other ministers were only rubber stamps.

The Nawabzada said that the ARD would continue its struggle against the undemocratic system and for the restoration of the 1973 Constitution.
