KARACHI, July 25: In connection with Independence Day celebration, an ‘Aalmi Mushaira’ will be held here on Aug 9 at the National Stadium, said an announcement on Friday.

It said the event, being held under the auspices of ‘Sakinan- i-Shahar-i-Quaid’, will be presided over by governor.

A number of poets from abroad will also recite their ‘kalam’ at the ‘Mushaira’.

They will include those from India, the United States, Britain, the United Arab Emirates and Bangladesh.—APP
