RAWALPINDI, Dec 28: Openers Sufyan Munir and Asim Munir scored half centuries on Sunday while Saleem Mughal scored an unbeaten 93 as Sui Gas edged ZTBL by eight runs in a high-scoring Patron’s Cup Pool ‘B’ match at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

Sufyan continuing his fine form with the bat struck 71 while Asim stroked 52 and later Saleem stepped in to fire Sui Gas to a tall 308 for five in 50 overs.

ZTBL made a gallant start, Raheel Majeed (53) and Zahoor Elahi (86) putting on 132 in a first wicket stand. But the bankers could not captialise on the good start and fell for 300 in 49.3 overs.
