RAWALPINDI, Dec 26: KPT opener Shadab Kabir and Atif Ali Zaidi scored half centuries on Thursday in their drawn Patron’s Trophy Pool ‘B’ match against Allied Bank at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

Shadab struck 87 and Atif hit 76 as KPT who resumed at the overnight 85 for no loss, collected 258 for seven before declaring their second innings closed. Tahir Mughal was the chief wicket-taker with five for 95. He returned match figures of 11 for 149.

Allied Bank were 55 for two in their second innings when play ended. They picked up three points by virtue of having gained first innings lead.
