KARACHI: Two coaching sessions under foreign expert are part of the annual calendar released by the Pakistan Billiards and Snooker Federation (PBSF) here on Thursday.

According to details, the first session spanning a month begins at the PSB snooker hall in Islamabad on Feb 1 under the supervision of reigning world champion Soheil Vahedi of Iran.

The second such exercise will be carried out at the same venue from Oct 1 to 25 to give needed practice to home cueists before the IBSF world snooker championship at Malta from Nov 10 to 19.

It is pertinent to mention that Vahedi had carried out a fortnight training session at Islamabad in Oct last and the following month crowned the world title at Doha.

The calendar envisaged half-a-dozen foreign tours for seniors and two tours for the juniors.

Pakistan Snooker League being held in the city from May 1 to 7 is the new edition in the calendar.
