HYDERABAD, Dec 22: Sindh Taraqqi Pasand Party chief Dr Qadir Magsi has accused the rulers of hatching conspiracies to take over the control of resources of the provinces on permanent basis.
He said that the problems confronting Sindh could only be resolved through unity and joint struggle.
He was speaking at the central committee meeting of the party held at the Taraqqi Pasand House here on Monday.
He said that while the people of Sindh were protesting against the greater Thal canal, the issue of Kalabagh dam was raised which was followed by Bhasha and other dams.
He said that now the Pandora’s box of reopening of the Khokhrapar border was being opened to pave the way for settlement of more outsiders in Sindh.
Dr Magsi said that the establishment and the Muttahida Qaumi Movement were in agreement to loot the Sindhi people and usurp their resources.
Criticizing the Muttahida, he said that it was never sincere with the cause of Sindh and was deceiving the Sindhis and added that the hypocrisy of the Muttahida had been exposed.
He reiterated that supporters of the Thal canal and Kalabagh and other dams were traitors of Sindh and added that they deserved no leniency.
The meeting decided to hold a congress of the party from Feb 6 to 8, 2004 in Hyderabad.
