RAWALPINDI, Dec 21: Opener Riffatullah struck a fine half century and off-spinner Akram Raza claimed five wickets to help Habib Bank score a comfortable 60-run victory over Sui Gas in their Patron’s Cup Pool ‘B’ match at the KRL Stadium on Sunday.

After being asked to bat first, Habib Bank scored 266 for nine off their 50 overs and then bowled out their rivals for 206 in just over 45 overs, Akram doing most of the damage. He conceded just 27 runs for his five wickets.

Riffat who hit 86 with six boundaries faced 136 deliveries to be the top scorer for his side. Notable contributions of 43 runs apiece were also made by Aftab Khan and Hasan Raza. Off-spinner Tariq Mahmood took three for 50.
