GUJRANWALA, Dec 21: Residents of Ilyas Colony on main Sheikhupura Road threw traffic out of gear after a speeding car crushed to death a minor girl on Sunday.

Senior police officers rushed to the spot and dispersed the protesters on the assurance that the fleeing driver would be arrested within 24 hours. Iram was crossing the road when the incident happened. She died on the spot. — Correspondent
