Superb knocks by Afsar and Ali

KARACHI, Dec 20: Afsar Nawaz and Ali Asad played main roles in their team’s triumph in the Madre-i-Millat Inter-club cricket tournament on Friday.

Pak Gymkhana (PG) beat Asifabad Sports (AS) by three wickets at Asifabad Ground with Afsar Nawaz hitting a match-winning 79 with seven boundaries.

In another match at New United Gymkhana ground, Mir (MS) defeated Young Co-Operators CC (YCCC) by six wickets. Ali Asad steered his team to easy win with a attractive unbeaten 83 with nine hits to the ropes.
