ISLAMABAD, Jan 1: Chairman Pakistan Muslim League(N) Raja Zafarul Haq said that he would try to convince Nawabzada Nasrullah Khan to take back his resignation from the chairmanship of Alliance for Restoration of Democracy (ARD).

In an interview here on Tuesday, the PML(N) leader said the ARD had not ended with the Nawabzada’s resignation, hoping that Nawabzada would rethink at his decision.

The PML(N) chairman said Nawabzada Nasrullah Khan was an experienced politician, who was striving hard for the restoration of democracy in the country. He further said all political parties had full confidence in the leadership of Nawabzada Nasrullah Khan and he had a wide experience to bring politicians at one platform.

Replying to a question, he said Nawabzada Nasrullah Khan had resigned due to the attitude of some political parties, included in the ARD. — PPI
