CHITRAL, Sept 30: Hizbul Mujahideen Supreme Commander Syed Salahuddin said on Friday that the Kashmiri Mujahideen will not agree on anything less than complete independence from India.

Speaking at a Jihad conference here at Shahi Masjid, he said the Kashmir Jihad was, in reality, the struggle for the solidarity and integrity of Pakistan.

He said India, after its desperate attempt to subdue the freedom fighters, was trying to win American support by offering airports for launching attacks on the Taliban.

He said America should and would not commit the mistake of challenging the Kashmiris.

He maintained that the struggle of the Kashmiris was indigenous and they were determined to fight till the last soldier of the occupation forces was present in the valley or to the last man of the freedom fighters.

He said the Kashmiris struggle had entered its decisive stage where the Indians would face defeat. He lauded Pakistan and its people for extending moral, diplomatic and financial support to their Kashmiri brethren.

Secretary general of Jamaat Islami, NWFP, Sirajul Haq, warned the  government of dire consequences if it allowed the US to use its soil against Taliban.

He said that for a few dollars the Musharraf government was playing the role of a hired assassin under American whims.

He warned that the government would not escape the wrath of the people if it acted against their wishes.
