KARACHI, Dec 15: A spokesman for the Sindh home department on Monday described as incorrect a report appeared in a section of the press attributed to the provincial adviser on home affairs regarding declaration of emergency in Sindh.

The spokesman clarified that the adviser did issue instructions to police and Rangers to remain alert, but no order for the enforcement of emergency was given nor it was required.—APP
