KARACHI, Dec 15: The Board of Intermediate Education will start issuing admit cards pertaining to 2003 HSC supplementary examinations to colleges from Dec 18.
A board official said that admit cards, both in the cases of regular and private candidates, were almost ready for delivery, while the HSC supplementary examination for Science (Pre-Medical and Engineering), Commerce (Regular and Private) Humanities (regular and Private) and Science (General) and Home Economics groups would commence on Dec 27.
As many as 22,000 male and female candidates, including 4,500 private candidates, have been registered for private and regular groups examinations, which would be conducted at 41 centres, including 17 for female candidates. A maximum number of candidates, ie 7,000, will be taking the examination in Pre-engineering group.
The principals of colleges concerned had been asked to collect the admit cards from the board office through their representatives from Dec 18 to Dec 20, and the regular students could collect cards from their respective colleges on or after Dec 22, a BIE notification said.
It was further said that the cards of private students would be sent at their addresses.
In the meantime, the BIE has also urged the college principals to arrange for collection of blank answer books, identification slips, seat list and other material required at centres for the purpose of examination on Dec 23 from the board office.
They have also been requested to keep the telephones of centres in order, and inform the board in case of any change in the telephone numbers.
