Two ‘missing’ boys found murdered

KARACHI: Two boys, who were missing from Sunday afternoon, were found murdered in the limits of Sohrab Goth and Site Superhighway Industrial police stations on Monday.

The boys were stated to be friends and were found dead from bushes in Khadim Hussain Solangi Goth near Ahsanabad and Allah Rakha Goth.

“One boy, aged around 10 years was killed by blunt trauma on his head after being subjecting to criminal assault,” said Malir SSP, Rao Anwar.

The officer added that another boy aged around 12 years was strangulated with a rope.

Both boys went missing from their homes in Lasi Goth in the limits of Sohrab Goth police station on Sunday afternoon and did not return home, added the police official.

"The families have not registered a missing report at the concerned police station," SSP Malir added.

Police officials at Sohrab Goth police station have started an investigation as the bodies were found with in its jurisdiction.

Anwar said he believed that it was not a case of kidnapping for ransom.
