KHAIRPUR, Dec 6: A meeting of Awam Dost Panel union council Nazims and Naib Nazims of Kotdiji taluka was held here on Saturday, which was presided over by MNA Manzoor Hussain Wassan.

Bafo UC Nazim Atta Hussain Chandio, who had defected from the ADP and joined rival Khairpur Dost Panel, also attended the meeting.

The meeting resolved that if a no-confidence motion was tabled against District Nazim Nafisa Shah, it would be foiled.

Later Mr Wassan, while talking to journalists, alleged that the ADP members were being harassed by registration of false cases of water theft and kidnapping against them to force them to change their loyalties.
