“I hold a BSc but I was never interested in a job. To me, it’s business that can make you successful. So after I graduated, instead of looking for a job, I began a small business selling fabric. Then, I opened a shop with my brothers and after about 10 years I got into the business of selling undergarments.

At the start I felt a bit shy selling these items, particularly to women, but then I got used to it. These clothes are needed by women, and I’m part of a business, so it’s a routine matter.

Most of my customers are women, and in all these years nothing unusual has happened at my place of work – it’s just like any other shop.

I have five children. My father gave me the liberty to choose an occupation that I was interested in, and I will also encourage my children to join a profession of their own choosing.”
