NOWSHERA, Dec 4: Civil judge Mohammad Naeem Anwar on Thursday issued stay order on a petition filed by the Human Rights Commission against recruitment in the education department.

Advocate Sayed Shahid Hassan Shah, appearing on behalf of the HRCP, pleaded that the education department in violation of the rules deprived thousands of candidates of jobs against the posts of certificate, theology and Arabic teachers and drawing masters.

The judge stopped the department from conducting interviews of the candidates. The court will hear the case on Dec 10.
