HARIPUR, Dec 2: A young man was stabbed to death by two brothers on suspicion of alleged illicit relations with their sister in the Nerota village in the upper Khanpur area on Monday night.

The Khanpur police, quoting the statement of one Maqsood, brother of the deceased, said that he, along with his younger brother, was playing ludo with his brother when his brother Tahir Mehmood went outside to respond to a call of nature.

When his brother did not return for a long time he went outside and spotted him lying dead in a nearby field. He accused Kamran and Mohammed Zaman, brothers of the girl concerned, for murdering Tahir Mehmood.
