LAHORE, Nov 28: Pakistan captain Inzamamul Haq and coach Javed Miandad on Friday were of the view that the rebuilding process of the national team had been completed and the practice of making frequent changes should end.

Inzamam said that a good number of new players had been tested under the process and now the practice of making frequent changes of players for every series should be avoided.

Inzamam said that after the World Cup-2003 various  cricketers were spotted and some showed good performance and they should  be encouraged to groom them as future stars.

Inzamam said that he would feel the absence of paceman Shoaib Akhtar for the first two ODIs. Shoaib is facing two-match ban for his unsporting behaviour at Lahore against South Africa in October.

Inzamam said that Younis Khan and Saqlain Mushtaq were  two experienced players and added every player who performs in domestic cricket should have the chance to play for Pakistan.

 Miandad said that frequent changes in the team was not beneficial for the players and the team as a whole because quality cricketers were not forthcoming and it was not fair to make changes at will.

He claimed that it had been decided to make collective decisions and henceforth the coach and captain would be consulted before announcing the probables.
