LAHORE, Nov 25: District Nazim Mian Amer Mahmood has called upon the youth to desist from flying kites, one-wheeling and plying their motorcycles after removing the mufflers during the Eid holidays.

Wishing a happy Eid to Lahorites, the Nazim on Tuesday reminded the youth that the ban on kite flying was still in place and those violating it could be arrested and proceeded against under the law.

Kite flying also required to be avoided on Eid to prevent frequent power trippings and damaging of the electrical appliances of the people as a result. He said that avoiding one-wheeling was necessary to avoid fatal accidents while plying of motorcycles after removing the silencers required to be avoided to check noise pollution. —Reporter
