Special trains for Shahbaz Qalandar Urs
LAHORE: The Pakistan Railways will operate four special trains to facilitate the disciples of Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalandar on his annual Urs at Sehwan Sharif.
The first special train will leave Faisalabad station at 6:15pm on Monday (today) to reach Sehwan Sharif on Tuesday (tomorrow) at 1:30pm through Khanewal, Rohri and Larkana.
The second train will leave Lahore station at 12:30pm on Tuesday (May 24) to reach Sehwan Sharif on Wednesday at 9am through Sahiwal, Khanewal Rohri and Larkana.
The third train will leave Sehwan Sharif on May 29 at 10am to reach Faisalabad while the fourth special will depart Sehwan at 5pm for Lahore.
Meanwhile, the Pakistan Railways police have intensified security arrangements at the Sehwan station.
On a direction of Railways Police Inspector General Munir Chishti, commandos and the bomb disposal squad have been deployed at Sehwan station.
The number of policemen in civvies in the moving trains having stoppages at Sehwan has also been enhanced.
STOPPAGE: Five trains will be stopping at the Qila Sattar Shah Railway Station for one minute during the four-day annual Majlis-i-Aza there.
The stoppage of Badar Express (111-up/112-down), Ghauri Express (113-up/114-down), Ravi Express (121-up/122-down), Sargodha Express (123-up/124-down) and Waris Shah Fast (207-up/208-down) will be in force from May 29 to June 1, according to a Pakistan Railways announcement.
