LAHORE, Nov 20: City district government special teams on Thursday imposed a fine of Rs46,300 on 39 shopkeepers and lodged FIRs against another six found selling essential commodities at exorbitant rates.

Some 42 shopkeepers were fined for short measuring. The raids were conducted in Walton Road, Johar Town, Garden Town and Gulshan-i-Ravi areas.
