KHAAR (Bajaur Agency), Nov 20: In order to overcome the rapid population growth rate in the tribal areas a local welfare organization has been formed with the name of the Bajaur Social Development Society to create awareness among the tribesmen about the birth control.

The organization has formally started its activities in the agency.

In one of its reports the organization has claimed that the tribal agencies in Pakistan have highest population growth rate in the world.

The report said that the rapid increase in the population in the tribal areas was the major hurdle in the way of development.
