NAWABSHAH, Nov 18: The irrigation staff of the Nusrat division ended their protest against the Buchheri union council Nazim here on Tuesday after negotiations were held between the Nawabshah taluka Nazim and the Sukkur Barrage chief engineer.

The irrigation staff had been observing a token hunger strike for the last three days against Nazim Naveed Latif Abbasi for allegedly stealing water.
