PESHAWAR: BBC’s Pushto programme

PESHAWAR, Nov 17: BBC World Pushto Service has launched a new daily 30-minute Pushto language programme on Monday, especially dedicated to the Pukhtuns living in the NWFP and Balochistan provinces and Karachi.

A press release issued by the BBC Pushto Service said the programme would provide more in-depth analysis of the issues related to the region.

It would also provide a chance for the Pukhtuns living in the tribal areas to listen to informative and entertaining programmes every night, it said.

The 30-minute programme would be broadcast at 2130 Pakistan Standard Time.—Bureau Report
