SHEIKHUPURA, Nov 7: Three people were killed and two others injured in a crossfire between two groups in Dawoki Mallian here on Friday.

Reports said Maqsood had a land dispute with Jan Mohammed. On Friday, Maqsood hired the services of 12 proclaimed offenders and attacked the rivals in a bid to occupy the disputed land. In an exchange of fire, Amjad Dogar, Naeem and Riasat Ali of the two groups were killed and two others injured. The injured, including Allah Ditta, were taken to hospital.
