NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, Nov 5: A bus conductor was killed by six bandits near the Moro toll plaza when he offered resistance to them on Wednesday.
When a Rawalpindi-bound coach (JB-7786) coming from Karachi reached near the toll plaza, six armed men travelling in it took out their pistols and started looting passengers.
The conductor, Rafiullah, son of, Fateh Mohammad, 38, offered resistance on which
the bandits opened fire at him as a result he was seriously injured.
After depriving passengers of cash, gold ornaments, watches, valises and briefcases, the bandits got down near Noorpur town and fled.
The driver brought the injured conductor to the Civil Hospital here where he died.
TPO Naushahro Feroze Ali Akbar Waggan reached the hospital and offered bus driver an ambulance to carry the body of conductor but he refused and took the body in the coach.
The TPO asked passengers to wait for a video recording of passengers which was made at the toll plaza and lodge an FIR but the driver and passengers did not agree and left for Rawalpindi.
