LAHORE: Renowned all-rounder Abdul Razzaq and opener Yasir Hameed have announced retirements from international cricket to be eligible to play in the Master Champions League scheduled to be held in the UAE next month.
Overall, six players have announced retirement for the same purpose with Humayun Farhat, Saleem Elahi, Rana Naved-ul-Hasan and Mohammad Khalil being the others who have announced retirement. However, they are still eligible to play domestic cricket.
Razzaq was also included in the supplement list of the PSL’s Lahore Qalandars outfit but now, according to the PCB policy, he is no more eligible to play in the PSL.
