KARACHI, Oct 31: The University of Karachi, on Friday, announced the results of BSc (Home Economics) first year annual exams 2003 with a pass percentage of 65.55.

Out of 580 registered candidates, 566 appeared and 371 were declared successful. The result of one candidate was with held for recovery of fine imposed on him.

DATE EXTENDED: The University of Karachi has extended the date for issuance and submission of admission forms in Masters programme for academic session 2004 up to Nov 5.

The forms can be obtained and submitted back at the designated branches of HBL.

Meanwhile, the university has made it compulsory for students and teachers of evening programme to wear gowns. In a notification, the university spokesman stated that students and teachers would not be allowed to appear in semester exams, commencing from Nov 3, without gowns. —PPI
