ISLAMABAD, Oct 29: The ambassador of Saudi Arabia, Ali Saeed Awadh Asseri, and the vice-president of International Islamic University (IIU), Dr Mahmood Ahmad Ghazi, signed a memorandum of understanding here on Wednesday for the establishment of two secondary schools on the IIU premises in Sector H-10.
The IIU rector, Justice Khalilur Rahman Khan (retired), was also present. The two schools, one for boys and another for girls, will initially be of secondary school level, however, will be upgraded later.
The Saudi government has accepted the responsibility of developing the infrastructure and construction of the school buildings while the IIU will provide land.
The Saudi administration will offer 15 per cent seats in the school to the children of university employees on discounted rates.
