NOWSHERA, Dec 26: Dacoits snatched cash and other valuables from dozens of people, including a Nazim of a local union council, on Sunday at Pabbi-Dagan Road.

Dagai Nazim Atlas Khan told police that he was on his way home after visiting a local police station when about a dozen armed men had stopped him and some other people forcibly. The dacoits snatched cash and other valuables from them, he added.

He said: “The dacoits might have recognised me, therefore they returned my watch and money.”
