LOS ANGELES, Oct 25: Wildfires threatening the Los Angeles suburbs worsened on Saturday forcing more people from their homes and a cloud of dirty smoke over the city.

Some 3,500 people were ordered from their homes as the fire zone grew to almost 5,700 hectares, officials said.—AFP
