JHANG, Oct 24: Two schoolchildren were killed and eight others sustained injuries in a road accident near Chiniot on Friday.

Around 10 schoolchildren were returning from school on a motorcycle rickshaw. Near Ada Salara, three kilometres from Chiniot on Pindi Bhattian Road, it was hit by a speeding bus coming from Lahore. As a result, Suleman (10) and Summera (5) died instantly while eight others suffered injuries. They were shifted to the THQ Hospital, Chiniot, where their condition was stated to be stable.
