PESHAWAR, Oct 19: The general manager of PTV Peshawar Centre, Farmanullah Jan, has asked the technical staff to abreast themselves with information technology to be able to compete the challenges in future.
Speaking at the concluding day of the six-day workshop on information technology the other day, he said that the computer has become mandatory for the production of quality programmes and urged the need for more such workshops to educate the engineers, producers and other staff regarding the use of computer.
Controller information technology of the PTV headquarters, Islamabad, Fakhar Hamid, said that the introduction of computer technology had revolutionized the world.
He set aside the impression that information technology had slashed the job opportunities, saying that it had rather expanded the job market.
