Two killed in mine blast

SUKKUR, Oct 13: Two persons were killed when a landmine exploded in Bhitai colony at RD-36 near Shahi Wah on Sindh-Balochistan border on Monday.

Zafar Bugti and Kashmir Bugti were on their way to home.

When they reached near RD-36 a landmine exploded, killing them on the spot. The Rangers later handed over the bodies to the relatives of the dead men after postmortem.

ACCIDENT: Two persons were killed and 20 others injured in an accident on the National Highway near Pano Akil on Monday.

When a Sehwan-bound passenger bus (FDL-3035) coming from Multan reached near Pano Akil Cantonment its tie-rod broke, it overturned and fell into a ditch.

Consequently, two passengers, Pehalwan, and Akbar Ali, were killed and Haji Yousuf, Mir Ahmed, Hazoor Bukhsh, Ilyas, Abdul Khaliq, Altaf, Ghulam Abbas, Malika, Bharwan and others were injured.
