KARACHI, Oct 10: Four ships carrying containers and guar meal are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Saturday, according to KPT sources

Berthing activity at the wharves was active where only one ship, Al-Mariyah to unload and load containers was berthed after the departure of three.

The ships, which departed included Flame, Al-Mariyah and Shalamar, while Torge-S, Stolt Alliance, Oriental Bright, Olympias, Chemroad Megum and Albatros are due to sail out on Saturday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was maintained on the higher side as the total tonnage handled amounted to 95,634 tons comprising 18,282 tons of export cargo and 77,362 tons of import tonnage including 54,318 tons of liquid tonnage.

The following ships are due on Saturday: Orient Stride, Iwato, Ocean Genius, with containers and Mercs Kandy, with 2,700 tons of guar meal.
