Anti-polio drive from 14th

ABBOTTABAD, Oct 9: The district health office has set a target of vaccination of at least 175,000 children in the three-day anti-polio campaign from Oct 14 and formed 471 mobile teams for the purpose.

Extended Programme on Immunization’s Coordinator Dr Amir Habib and National Immunization Programme’s District Coordinator Dr Ashfaq Ahmed told newsmen at the press club on Thursday that no polio case had been reported in the district in three years. They said the staff was also collecting the data of all those below the age of 15 years who had been affected by paralysis attack. — Correspondent
