Robbers strike nine times in Faisalabad

FAISALABAD, Dec 23: Robbers made off with cash, ornaments and took away six motorcycles and a wagon in nine strikes in the city during the last 24 hours.

Unidentified armed dacoits barged into Mushtaq’s house in Chak 199-RB of Saddar police station and made off with ornaments, cash and other valuables.

Armed highwaymen snatched a wagon of the Faisalabad Urban Transport from its driver near Nalka Kohala stop on the Faisalabad-Sargodha Road.

A student, Atique Ahmed, was deprived of his new motorcycle by two armed robbers in Jhang Bazaar.

Two masked motorcyclists snatched ornaments and Rs2,000 in cash from a woman at gunpoint in Peoples Colony and fled.

Thieves took away a motorcycle (SGB-632) parked outside a shopping centre on Kotwali Road.

Another two-wheeler (FDL-6794) was taken away by thieves from Gulistan Colony.

Thieves hijacked a motorcycle (FDQ-7274) of Naeem Akhtar from Kutchery Bazaar.

A local shopkeeper, Naseem, was also relieved of his motorcycle (FDT-8410) by thieves in Peoples Colony.

Muhammad Suleman of Chak 237-GB was deprived of his two-wheeler (FDY-7217) by thieves.
