HYDERABAD, Oct 5: The director-general, Hyderabad Development Authority, Ali Ahmed Lund, has issued directives that no NOC should be issued for any commercial construction on the premises of educational institutions.

Under instructions from the provincial adviser, local government and Kutchi Abadis, Waseem Akhtar, the DG instructed the HDA officials not to approve any building plan for construction on the premises of Noor Mohammad High School, Al-Farooq High School and Mitha Ram Hostel.

He further said the historical and cultural buildings also must be protected. He called upon the people not to book any flat/ shop in any project planned on the premises of educational institutions or historical buildings.

The HDA authorities further cautioned the people that the builders of Hyder Town Housing Scheme and Diamond Housing Scheme had not been granted any approval.
