KARACHI, Oct 5: The World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), organized beach-cleaning activity at the Sandspit on Sunday, covering the nesting area of endangered turtle species, Green and Olive Ridley.

The nesting season of marine turtle has already begun. Mostly plastic material was collected, as the turtles presume it to be jelly fish, which was their feed. About 167 bags of garbage were removed from Sandspit.—APP
