KATHMANDU, Dec 23: Three Nepalese army soldiers and one Maoist activist were killed on Sunday when their truck went over a mine planted by suspected Maoists.

One soldier and the Maoist died on the spot when the mine exploded in Lumjung district, 190kms west of Kathmandu, while two other troops died later in hospital.—AFP
