THE publishers of Dawn, Pakistan Herald Publications, are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Tahir Mirza as Editor of Dawn. Currently Assistant Editor (News), Mr Mirza will work in close cooperation with the Editor-in-Chief, Mr Ahmad Ali Khan.

Mr Mirza has previously served as Resident Editor, Lahore, and staff correspondent in Washington DC. He was formerly executive editor of Khaleej Times, Dubai.
