PESHAWAR, Sept 18: The NWFP government has ordered certain postings and transfers of some officers with immediate effect.

According to a notification issued here on Thursday, Baz Muhammad Khattak (DMG BS-20), secretary to the NWFP government, local government and rural development department has been transferred and posted as chairman of Sarhad Development Authority (SDA). SDA chief Abdul Wakeed Afridi (DMG BS-21) will replace him.

Khalid Mehmood (PCS EG BS-19), director of the NWFP civil defence, has been transferred and posted as district coordination officer, Abbottabad. While his predecessor Jamil Ahmad (DMG BS-19) has been transferred and posted as registrar cooperative societies, NWFP, against a vacant post.

Similarly, Swat DCO Hafiz Muhammad Abdul Hayee (DMG BS-19), who has been posted as additional secretary of the environment department against a vacant post, will be replaced by Shah Hussain Afridi (PCS EG BS-18), deputy secretary agriculture, livestock and cooperative department.—Bureau Report
