Speaking at the inauguration ceremony of a photo-exhibition of different Chinese cities at the Intermediate College Wazirbagh in connection with it’s 54th National Day celebrations on Tuesday.
The Pak-China Friendship Association organized this exhibition to highlight the socio-economic development of the country. The theme of the exhibition was “The Beauty of China”, which focused on living beauty depicting from different aspects of Chinese life and society. Minister for local government Sardar Mohammad Idrees, District Nazim Azam Afridi and other councillors were present on the occasion.
Mr Durrani said that political changes in the Subcontinent region had not affected Pakistan-China exemplary friendship. Pakistan needs cooperation from China to strengthen financial structure.
There is need to promote trade between both the countries. The “Awan- i-Dosti” will promote culture, art and trade between the two countries.
He said that provincial government would allot a piece of land for the Awan-i-Dosti but assistance and financial support of China would be also needed to set up this cultural centre.
The ambassador of China, Zing Chin Ziang, said that China would leave no stone unturned to promote friendship in the fields of trade and latest technology. He said that China would share its developed technology with Pakistan.
The Chairman Pak-China Association, Mr Shams-ud-Din said that the association is making efforts to strengthen the bond of friendship between Pakistan and China for the last 33 years.
