ST activist killed in ‘sectarian’ attack

KARACHI: A Sunni Tehreek worker was shot dead in a suspected sectarian attack in Ittehad Town on Friday evening, police said.

They added that 35-year-old Abdul Qadir was sitting outside his house in Abidabad near the Pareeshan roundabout when armed motorcyclists attacked him.

He sustained critical wounds and was taken to the Civil Hospital Karachi, where doctors pronounced him dead on arrival.
