ISLAMABAD, Sept 9: The women parliamentarians, mainly from Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal (MMA), on Tuesday vowed to fight against what they called the westernized women’s struggle to repeal the Hudood Ordinance.

In a statement, they pledged to spare no sacrifice to safeguard the Hudood Ordinance. They said parliament had already become a battlefiled on the controversial issue of Legal Framework Order (LFO), and if someone tried to amend or repeal the ordinance it would create more problems for the country.
