OKARA, Sept 5: Four bandits on Friday shot dead a woman and injured two others seriously on resistance during a dacoity in Lahorian village.

Armed dacoits entered the house of Haji Muhammad Ali, held the women hostage and started collecting valuables. The intruders opened fire on women when they held them out. As a result, Razia died instantly while Kulsoom Bibi and Surraya Bibi sustained critical injuries. Later, the dacoits escaped with the loot after locking the women in a room. The body was shifted to the local DHQ Hospital while the injured women were admitted to Renala Khurd RHC.
