HYDERABAD, Sept 5: The district president, Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal, and president, Citizens Action Committee, Abdul Waheed Qureshi, has warned that the illegal construction of shops on the property of the Muslim High School, Hyderabad, would not be tolerated under any circumstances.
He was talking to the members of the school management committee and teachers during his visit to the Muslim High School, Cloth Market, on Thursday.
He said that the MMA would foil all the conspiracies against the school.
He demanded that the Sindh government withdraw the proposal of constructing shops and cancel the transfer order of the school headmaster in the interest of academic peace.
PROPOSAL CONDEMNED: Meanwhile, the Sindh Education Society, at an urgent meeting held on Thursday, also condemned the proposal to construct shops on the property of the Government Muslim High School and the forced transfer of the school headmaster.
The meeting which was presided over by Sohail Hanif demanded that the Sindh government take notice of the unholy alliance between the builder mafia and the officers of the education department concerned in this regard.
