Medical camps set up

BADIN, Sept 4: On the directives of the Sindh Health Services director, a medical camp has been established in Yousuf Bhoot village of Tando Bago taluka where a major outbreak of gastroenteritis was reported.

A team of doctors reached the affected village to combat the disease.

According to a doctor, 10 lady health workers were also sent on Thursday to teach precautionary health measures to housewives of the village.

He said that as many as 300 villagers were examined, and out of them, 50 were diagnosed as suffering from the ailment while the rest of the patients were affected with skin, eye and other diseases.

He said ample quantity of medicines was available with the team.
