COLOMBO, Sept 3: Pakistan under-19 cricketers ended their tour of Sri Lanka on a losing note, going down by seven wickets in the fifth and last one-day game at P.Saravanamuttu Stadium on Wednesday.

However,the tourists won the series 4-1, after winning the first four matches. Put into bat, the tourists were dismissed for 183 in 37.4 overs.

Salman Qadir (43), Riaz Afridi (34) and skipper Khalid Latif (26) were the major contributors.

The home side in reply reached the revised target for the loss of three wickets.

Pakistan, however, had the honour of winning the ‘Man of the Series’ award which was jointly shared by Jahangir Mirza and Riaz Afridi.
